Last weekend at a yoga workshop I got to sit next to a delightful person. She was from Canada and it was interesting to compare our impressions and experiences of moving to Berlin, coming from two quite different places (one example: I thought I moved to Vegan Wonderland while she went back to eating meat because she found being vegetarian so difficult in Germany).
Now I can't help imagining all the women of Canada constantly running around with intricate beehives or something. (The lack of female German hairstyle never struck me as that obvious. But then, I think hairspray is made for fixing charcoal drawings...)

Hairspray as a fixative! I used to use it with my pastel drawings for that reason. But then, I have baby fine straight hair and no amount of hairspray would ever give me volume anyway.
My laptop is in the shop but I'm hoping on Monday I can start playing catch up with my life and my emails and everything.
