Hallo(ween), Dr Sketchy

I've been at Dr Sketchy's today. It was my very first life drawing session and it was even more awesome than I ever could have imagined. The models were to die for, the DJ and the moderators were fantastic and the (free) Halloween chocolate muffins divine. And I won a bottle of vodka in the contest (the last 15 minute pose, theme: "watermelon of doom")! Yay!

The first ten were one-minute poses:
(What looks like a poor blow job in the first spread is actually a model biting into one of his plastic zombie arms. Just so you know.)

All of them were gorgeous, but Tronicat La Miez took away my breath. Her flexibility (and stamina!) and expressions are way beyond competition... *sigh* *drool*

The rest of the poses were between five and 15 minutes:

I can't wait until the next session. I mean literally. I'm totally hooked. If you have a Dr Sketchy's near you or somehow get the chance: do it! TriplemelonrecommE*phimendation. Not only because of the vodka and the muffins.

Measurements for your successful wintertime survival

The days are getting shorter, the air is getting colder, and the world beyond my blanket is getting significantly less attractive. Winter is coming, I'm afraid. The time of the year when I miss having a bath tub. Only pathological amounts of tea and granny's knitted socks can help. And this:

Halloween costumes for women on a budget

Happy almost-Halloween everyone! Lots of people have noticed the limited range of non-humiliating costumes for ladies and are expressing their opinions artistically. Among my favorites are, for example, these and these.

Seriously, how many of these have to be drawn until the female (identified) half of the world gets some reasonable (and fun) options?

CoE - flat hopping

Here are two diary comic thingies from September, when I was living in my boss' (and former thesis supervisor's) flat while he was on holiday (and I was working). Never got around scanning them until now (I haven't even had a computer until about a month ago - oh horrors of 2011!! - let alone a flat).

Resonance

It's been a long and busy time, but have mercy with this irregularly updating lady! I guess it's gonna take me a while until Free&Radical will be revived as well (eventually it will), but for now at least this blog shall return to life, optimistically speaking.

I finally moved to Berlin (a month ago actually. A month ago already??! I can't believe it myself.) and I share a flat with seven lovely people from seven different countries. It's fun. I live in the basement as every self-respecting Austrian would (they call it souterrain here, sounds much better).
