Happy crazy freaky lazy New Year everyone!

A few impressions from my mountain hut holidays:

I'm obsessed with fire. I could stare at it for hours and hours. And take gazillions of pictures of it (don't worry though, I'll post only two here).

We were welcomed by a fashionable mountain cock (amazing word, if you ask me):

Almost midnight view (I don't have a tripod, so I had to stop breathing for this picture):

We also had a beautiful guest. No idea where it came from at this time of the year.

Our kitchen. Best place to make some delish chocolate bananas:

The last picture was manipulated using the free little program Poladroid. I love these people, at least until I can get hold of a real polaroid camera. Or a Lomo. I'm still hoping to win the one from CUT-magazine's CUTvent calendar.
It was the greatest New Year's Eve (or rather holidays) I had for years. Just the perfect mixture of cosy fireplace chatting, acro yoga, daredevil sled races, shamanic smoke rituals, long walks in the snow and puking kids. I made lovely new friends whom I could annoy a bit with feminist ideas. I think we all had a great time. Even though in the end everybody but me got an intense stomach flu.
